Asa Hutchinson is a candidate for the governor of Arkansas election. Hutchinson strongly supports the state’s new law that states you need to bring voter ID in order to register your vote. Well, he should learn to practice what he preaches.
When Asa Hutchinson arrived at the voting polls in Bentonville, he realized that he forgot his voter ID and was unable to vote. Fortunately for Hutchinson, he was able to send one of his staff members on an errand to pick up his ID so that he was able to vote.
Hutchinson thought that the incident was “little bit of an inconvenience” but still believes that the law is necessary for whatever reason.
You have to cut him some slack, Tuesday was the first day that voters had to bring their voter ID to the polls. Hopefully next time, he’ll remember the law that he helped pass.
