What have you done today?
13-year-old Malavath Purna became the youngest female to ever scale Mount Everest. Purna was accompanied by 16-year-old Sadhanapalli Anand Kumar during the climb. They climbed a mountain; I have enough trouble climbing out of bed in the morning.
To make the feat more impressive, their 52-day expedition ended at 6AM today when they reached the summit.
The two thrill seeker world record breakers were chosen with 20 other students, out of a group of 150 to be sent the ever so prestigious school we’ve never heard of Institute in Darjeeling.
These two students were the best in the class, and were sent up the tallest mountain the world on an expedition that started in April.
Wanna know what I’ve done since the beginning of April? I watched all 9 seasons of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. That’s just as, if not more impressive than climbing some dinky mountain.
