England’s world cup poncho for supporters resembles Ku Klux Klan outfit

For the upcoming FIFA World Cup, England supporters will be able to buy a wearable flag to show their support for the boys in red and white.  The only problem with it is… the hood added to it makes this poncho a KKK outfit with ENGLAND spread across the back.

The company ASDA, which is owned by Walmart, has been the creators of the poncho and a company spokesperson had this to say.  “We know there’s chatter on Twitter about our wearable World Cup flags, but it’s simply a flag with a hood – nothing more, nothing less,” she said.

They added the pointy hood to keep the fans from “getting wet”.  Obviously because they can’t bring their own hooded jacket to wear underneath, right?
