Woman tweets “2 Drunk 2 Care” Before Fatal Car Crash

Do you care now?

It has recently been revealed that a woman responsible for a fatal head on collision last November killing two, tweeted “2 Drunk 2 Care” just minutes before crashing her vehicle. The collision was with the car of Kaitlyn Ferrante and her friend Marisa Catronio, who were both 21-years-old at the time. Both of them passed away.

The drunk driver, 20-year-old Kayla Mendoza survived despite crashing head on with Kaitlyn Ferrante’s car head on, while driving on the wrong side of the Freeway. , and now she must face the consequences.

Before the crash, Mendoza was out at a bar with friends from work and her boss, who were all old enough to drink. Kayla wasn’t, and asked her boss, “Do you think I will get served?”

Mendoza finished two fish bowl-sized margaritas, paid for them with her credit card, and her boss walked her out to her car and said that she appeared to be ‘okay’.

Her blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit. And, according to her twitter feed, she was 2 drunk 2 care.

She pleaded not guilty, which I’m not sure how she is going to manage to defend herself after tweeting 2 drunk 2 care.

She might as well have tweeted, Suuuuuper drunk. Breaking all sorts of laws. I don’t care though because of how incredibly intoxicated I am. #HowAmIEvenDrivingRightNow

To make matters worse, she refers to herself as the “Pothead Princess” on Twitter, just like every other reckless young adult who is also 2 drunk 2 care.

This is just like that time the woman posted a status on Facebook saying “The happy song makes me HAPPY,” before she crashed her car and died. By no means were those last words glamorous.

So do us a favour, don’t text and drive, don’t drink and drive, and don’t be an idiot.

Be safe, goddamnit.
