Meth Lab Found at Retirement Community

Those old people aren’t so innocent after all.

Robert Short, a 64-year-old man from California was apprehended at a casual traffic stop, and was accused for cooking meth inside of his apartment at in a facility designed for seniors. Maybe he wasn’t making enough money from his pension to afford the lucrative lifestyle of living in a retirement home, maybe he wanted to be young again, or maybe he just wanted to make a ton of money cooking meth.

It was the perfect cover, really. How many DEA agents do you see around retirement communities?

After pulling Robert Short over during a traffic stop, Sgt Brian Valles discovered that Short was on “supervised release” for selling meth. While searching Short’s car, the officer found 4 ounces of crystal meth, plastic bags, and an electronic scale.

“Supervised release”.
