Don’t mess with my pits, boy.
An 18-year-old, Tristan Myers, crashed his SUV Sunday morning, at around 5:30 a.m, when the passenger, a 16-year-old boy, decided it would be a funny idea to light Myers’ armpit hair on fire. What he thought was an innocent gesture would actually turn into an event that would total Myers’ car.
After being distracted by the flame emerging in his pits, Myers lost control of the vehicle, simultaneously rolling it, and launching two girls, aged 15 and 16 from the backseat, to outside the vehicle. The teenagers were not wearing seat belts, and three of the teens were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Initially, Myers said that he had swerved to avoid an animal on the road, but after deputies asked all the teens in the car, the truth finally emerged.
We can only imagine how awkward it would be to admit that you lit your friends armpit hair on fire, and that is how his SUV ended up getting destroyed on the side of the road.
